The Bioteq Closed Suction Catheters (CSC's) provide safe and simple access for suctioning of the mechanically ventilated patient, without compromising the ventilation process.

 

Main features of the Bioteq Closed Suction Catheters: 

  • Available in various lengths for both endotracheal and tracheostomy suctioning

  • 24hr and 72hr versions

  • Easy-to-use suction switch, which is colour coded for quick size identification

  • Swivel connectors allowing full 360° for optimal comfort and flexibilty for both the patient and clinical user

  • High quality, sheer Surlyn sleeve - withstands multiple catheter manipulations. Highly compact sleeve to effectively prevent infiltration of blood and sputum.

  • Suction catheter tip is soft and smooth rounded to prevent airway mucosal trauma

  • Option for a one-way valve on the irrigation port to promote optimal lavage and irrigation. Prevents infiltration of secretions and loss of ventilation pressure.

  • Option for a MDI port - administration of bronchial dilators

  • Bold, colour coded day-for-change indicator stickers to ensure timely replacement

  • Supplied sterile packed for single patient use

 

24Hr Adult Closed Suction Catheter 

 

  • Available in sizes: 10F, 12F, 14F, 16F

  • Available in lengths: 540cm, 360cm

  • BL.BTSC1 series - double swivel connectors, standard irrigation port

  • BL.BTSC2 series - double swivel connectors, one-way irrigation port

  • BL.BTSC3 series - double swivel connectors, one-way irrigation port, MDI port

  

24Hr Paediatric Closed Suction Catheter

 

  • Available in sizes: 5F, 6F, 7F, 8F and 10F

  • Lengths range from 320cm - 410cm

  • Set includes ET “Y” neonatal and paediatric care adaptors (connector sizes range from 2,0 - 5,5mm)

  • Colored graduations for convenient depth measurement

  • BL.BTSC1 series - standard irrigation port

  • BL.BTSC2 series - one-way irrigation port

 

72Hr Adult Closed Suction Catheter  - STOP VALVE TYPE

 

  • Available in sizes: 10F, 12F, 14F, 16F

  • Available in lengths: 540cm, 360cm

  • Indicated for 72hrs use

  • Special stop valve design seals the catheter tip into an isolated chamber for thorough lavage and cleaning

  • BL.BTSC2 D7 series - double swivel connectors, one-way irrigation port

  • BL.BTSC3 D7 series - double swivel connectors, one-way irrigation port, MDI port

 

72Hr Adult Closed Suction Catheter  - STOP VALVE TYPE

  • Features “ON”/”OFF Switch button design for ease-of-use
