SSEM Mthembu Medical represent the Sembu TR range of disposble pressure transducers.

Pressure transducers constantly monitor the blood pressure of critically ill patients. They facilitate earlier intervention and restoration of physiological functioning. The Sembu TR transducer sets are offered in a variety of configurations. Full customisation is also available allowing us to meet all unique client requirements.

We also offer closed sampling transducer systems which ensure safe and accurate blood sampling while preventing unnecessary blood loss and minimising the potential for cross contamination.

Manufactured to the highest international standards, the Sembu TR transducers meet the following specifications:

  • Operating pressure range: -30 to 300mmHg

  • Non linearity & hysteresis: ±1mmHg

  • Zero thermal effect: <±0.3mmHg/°C

  • Zero drift with time: <2mmHg/8hr (drift)

  • Leakage current: <2uA

  • Overpressure protection: 6464mmHg

  • Optimal Operating temperature: +15°C to 40°C

  • Operating life: 168hr

  • Storage temperature: -25°C to +70°C

  • Output impedance: 270 - 330 ohms
