The HemoPress is a classified as a Class I (non-sterile non-measuring) active medical device according to rule 12 of Annex ix, 93/42/EEC Medical Device Directive. In order to achieve no-down time during routine operation the manufacturer/supplier is able to access the machine remotely via internet access.
